A public course built for the people who live around it.
Since 1999
Parkway Golf Course opened for play in 1999 and has spent every season since serving Pound and the surrounding communities. Eighteen holes were cut into the woods and farmland north of town, and the pines that line the fairways have had a quarter of a century to grow into the course.
What we are trying to be
A good public course. Fair conditions, a card worth playing, a clubhouse that feels like the neighbourhood, and prices that let a family or a foursome play a full round without thinking hard about it.
We are not a country club and we have never tried to be one. Beginners are welcome. Leagues are welcome. Groups are welcome. So is anyone who only came for lunch.
01 The people
Who you will meet.
The same faces run the pro shop, the kitchen and the mowers. Between them they set the tee sheet, cook your food, cut the greens and know which pin position on twelve is the mean one. If you need something on the day, ask whoever is standing closest — it will get sorted.
